Lymphedema is a significant medical sequela from cancer treatment. These patients require all the tools to help manage lymphedema to improve comfort, mobility, swallow and overall function.

Being a radiation oncology provider who provides follow up care, the availability of this modality is pertinent to patient recovery and post-treatment symptom management.

No brainer. Spend money on healthcare and not insurance CEOs.

My patients manage their lymphedema much better having the head and neck lymphedema pump as part of their home program requiring decreased outpatient therapy visits.

These patients need this pump the most! It’s heartbreaking it’s not covered.

This is an important tool in the patient's ability to self manage the complications of head and neck lymphedema that continue beyond discharge from formal therapy.

This device has been a great benefit for patients I have treated for head and neck lymphedema and should be more readily available to them for home management after discharge from therapy.

Please change the medical policies to include lymphedema therapy for head and neck cancer survivors my dad had the opportunity to use it and although his battle ended in 2021 this treatment helped to give him the best quality of life.

As a HNC survivor, I personally know the new for lymphedema therapy coverage. It’s essential for HNC recovery.

Please update your policies to support head and neck cancer patients. Lymphadema has been an uncomfortable and often times painful condition that needs to be dealt with by a healthcare professional.

Our patients deserve to have access to this care that can improve their quality of life
