Half the girls at our school don't even own pants so unless you are planning on buying everyone a pair of pants with the money that the school doesn't have! we will be wearing our kilts next year.

The pants are an uglier and unpractical alternative to the kilt since it doesn't fit everyone..the kilt is a beautiful tradition @ carter and should be kept as part of the dress code

the beauty of the kilt was one of the reasons I decided to go to Carter. I've now graduated, but i occasionally see students in the CCAA kilt and it brings me back to my days at this art school. it would break my heart to no longer see it be part of this school. the red and blue represent carter. the kilt is just as important as the tie.

The kilt is a significant uniform piece that defines the history of the school. It is a part of our school identity, and it is sickening that parent and student rights are being violated.

This is not a TCDSB ban. It is only right that we have a say in the uniform. Keep the Kilt.

The kilt has been with carter since the beginning and taking that away would be like taking away something from charters history.
Let girls wear kilts and let them feel good and comfortable wearing it.
