I just entered the school just like several others my age or younger and the kilt was a lot of money almost $100. So if I spent $100 on a kilt why am I only allowed to wear it one year ?? Allow me to wear it for all 4 years. I mean the kilt was basically $25 a year so let us use it why ban it ??

I think kilts are very important because girls like wearing them more than pants. The pants you designed are ugly.

As a proud ccaa student I fully understand the need for the respectful wearing of the uniform. The kilt, just like any other piece of uniform, must be property worn and inforced. Should the decision be made to remove the kilt, those who have the kilt and have purchased the kilt should have the right to wear it until it faces out. Will the school prorate our kilt purchase? What will the next uniform piece be that is being threatened fazed out? The pants are not worn respectfully either.

Having myself gone to a Catholic high school, I find it deplorable that the female student body be punished for the failings of the male student body.

KEEP THE KILTS! The kilts are carters staple! The other day I was helping after school with registration and I was wearing the kilt. Multiple people came up to me for directions. They regcongized me from the kilt. If I were wearing the pants no one would notice. Without the kilt our school is not identified. No image. Nothing. Taking them away from performance uniform is also ubserd and it is unexseptable that the people who wear their kilts properly are being punished for other students actions. There are alternatives to this issue. Taking them away is not a solution

Kilts are one of Carter's symbol, it's a waste to get rid of them. It is unfair for the students in the music department to buy them for their performance dates and only use them then. It is also unfair for the students who did wear the kilt properly but are getting punished for others mistakes.

The kilt is a way for any student to express themselves. The ban of the kilt is taking away one piece of clothing that is allowed for a student to wear in this uniform coded school. It takes away the already small diversity in the uniform thou minimizing the choices that students have to express their inner art. The kilt is also a way for any student to feel comfortable when the weather becomes to hot to bare. There are other solutions to problems with the kilt other than banning it completely.

The kilt is a big part of the carter experience. Since grade seven, I haven't worn the pants to school once.
