So happy to see a college town act with local love.

The city will lose far more revenue if these local establishments close permanently.

I'm confident that Carbondale will be strong once the COVID-19 is contained but for now we need to support all local resturants and this is a great way to help.

Sad situation

This is only fair- small businesses are what make our communities great places to live.

I have owned an Aveda salon in Carbondale for 13 years. I know exactly how this is impacting all of the small businesses & I can only pray that when this ends that we will all be able to open back up.

One of the things that has helped us call Carbondale home is the awesome local businesses - especially the restaurants. If they city can't step in to help them through these hard times, we would definitely have second thoughts about our decision.

It's the right thing to do for Carbondale.

Please help us help the small business owner!

Carbondale should do it's part, too!

I hope the city will enact this tax break even without a petition to urge them to do it.
