Almost impossible to park other than in supermarket car parks. Thankfully, as pensioners, we live on the Hopper bus route. without this bus we would be in trouble.

Parking outside or even near our own home is becoming a major problem, as many people coming in to Ilkley use residential streets to park and then commute into Leeds or Bradford, or leave their cars on residential streets to go shopping.

Lower part of Cowpasture Road should have double yellow signs so parking is only allowed on 1 side

Driving down Cowpasture Road is a nightmare! Driving down past the Grammar School during term time there is always congestion but not too bad as it is only on one side of the road, there being double yellow lines outside the school entrance. However lower down towards the town centre there is parking on both sides making Cowpasture Road a single track road. I appreciate that commuters need somewhere to park. I took the train into Leeds to work for 13 years & know how difficult it is to park - I used to go to Ben Rhydding as parking was easier....sorry, although I always parked condiderably! Now if I want to go to Leeds, say mid morning, I have to pay £5 in the car park as everywhere else is full.

The current parking on both sides of the grove is an accident waiting to happen including the recent incident of a car crashing into the skip on grove road due to the restyricted visability caused by the parking on both sides

I would be pleased to see an end to parking being allowed on both sides of narrow residential streets since this leads to dangerous driving conditions. Parking of cars on pavements is also a problem where I live.

All Ilkley streets are too narrow for parking on both sides of the road eg Wells road. Some are even too narrow for a single line of parked cars.

The Grove is a dangerous place -a one way system would greatly improve safety for drivers and pedestrians.

Car parking is a nightmare both in the town centre and residential streets, and becoming increasingly dangerous. A review is long overdue.

We need a full review of car-parking and deliveries in the town centre. Existing laws and Highway code are being ignored by drivers and the police.

all day on street parking in Ilkley is ruining the environment. Cars are frequently parked on pavements causing hazardss to pedestrians. BNoth sides of Albany Walk are double parked making it difficult for the 961 bus. Grove Road has a similar problem. Many roads ( too many to name ) have similar problems. Restricted parking , properly patrolled would help to alleviate the problem.iate the

Commuters' cars are mostly responsible for the problems. There MUST be better provision made for those who need/want to park all day.

There is a serious problem with the lack of parking in Ilkley. All the side roads get congested and parked cars are spreading further up roads such as Kings Road. It is very difficult to drive along the Grove due to many vehicles, usually 4x4s being parked over the white lines. There is insufficient space in the main Ilkley car park for residents and visitors.
