This needs to addressed either with a permit scheme or an alternative as it is becoming hazardous driving in Ilkley.

Parking is now a huge issue in Ilkley and if nothing is done soon emergency vehicles will NOT be able to operate ... let alone citizens go about legally in their cars.

Consider building a small railway platform at the new carpark at the tesco site, for commuter all day parking , free of charge.

Having just taken 30 minutes to negotiate Ilkley from West to East there is an obvious need for a radical solution. Currently things can only get worse.

commuter's cars, parked all day are making it difficult for locals to support their local shops as it is often difficult to park. Equally commuters need somewhere to leave their cars in order to use the train, which should be encouraged.

Driving down New Brook St is like running the gauntlet. In any event, parking contrary to direction of travel should constitue an offence.

Suggested some time ago that the Memorial Park is moved to the existing car park and a two storey car park built in the current Memorial Garden area and cover it with a green sedum roof!

In addition to more parking can we please have a no parking on pavements sign at the top of Wells Parade. There are always parked cars there and it is sometimes impossible to walk past let alone push a pushchair or wheelchair without going into the road!
