I support the Oregon Communication Access Program’s goal of obtaining captioning at major University of Oregon venues by means that are found to be effective by Hard of Hearing and Deaf consumers as specified by Title II of the ADA. Captioning is a necessity for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and in some cases the general public for understanding announcements, speeches and dialog at athletic events, performances, ceremonies and concerts.
