Captain Joe’s Fishing & Waterman Services LLC is a fishing guide service that teaches the ethical and best fishing techniques for our lake. I am strictly a catch and release operation, refusing to allow my clients to keep any fish caught on any body of water. My operation entails moving very slowly in shallow water, so there is no impact on the traffic of Lake Harmony. Fishing is only successfully done quietly and at certain times of the day so there is no disturbance to the residents.
I’m a lifelong resident of the lake and have years of experience boating in a professional setting. I’m looking to work with the Lake Harmony Group to find a solution that will allow me to continue my business as well as benefit the group, the lake, and our community.
Attached are the documents required by the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission for a Fishing Guide/Charter Boat. Including My Pennsylvania fishing guide permit, proof of insurance, commercial captains license and approved application listing Lake Harmony as a primary water of operation.
The Signees of this Letter are Members, Lake front owners and contributors to our lake that acknowledge that my business will have no negative effects on the lake and will be a positive asset to our community.

Joe helped introduce our teenage son to the sport of fishing. Our son's enthusiasm and rapidly growing love for the sport, as well as his true respect of wildlife and the environment, were all positively influenced by Joey's teachings. We will always be grateful to Joe for what he has taught our son.
Joe is a trusted member of the community, and is extremely responsible and conscientious. He will operate the fishing business with the ecosystem in mind, both by teaching those who participate, especially the younger generation, how to fish responsibly and preserve this natural resource.
The only thing missing from your credentials appears to be a permit or permission to proceed, so follow their process and a solution will become available. Good luck
I love Joe’s entrepreneurial spirit! You don’t see that in a lot of young men his age these days! This should be a non issue on him being able to continue his business.

This will impact our lake in a position fashion ..... A quiet peaceful sport, unlike the noisy annoying wave runners that are allowed.
