I think we should allow boats to be stored on our property if they are in working condition.

I'm all for allowing boats in driveways, but I'm against allowing vehicles with commercial signs or lettering painted on them. I'm also against people storing their large RVs in their driveways. So, my vote is YES for boats, and NO to RVs and work vehicles.

I have neither, but I don’t have any objection to people parking them in their driveways.

Thank you! I believe there should be some restrictions but we should be able to park our work vehicles and boats at our homes.

The original boat ordinance needs to be changed with certain provisions

This is been needed for a long time. If the boat is used and working we should be allow to have them in our driveways. Why don't they charge a one time permit fee per boat or work truck. Than the city makes money and the owners are happy.

This is a working community. I think with some guidelines these things should be acceptable. Perhaps then it will free up some time for code enforcement to handle real problems in our area.

I agree, within reason. I have no desire to see a hunk of garbage by the side of the house.

I have been a resident of Cape Coral for 14 years and agree , how can you advertise a city as a “boaters paradise “ and cannot have a boat or trailer on your property . I have battled with code enforcement for quite some time over my enclosed trailer being on my driveway , even receiving a citation while I was cleaning it out ! The officer said I can’t store / Park it on the driveway . So I asked well where can I store it, he responded “ there is a place on Burnt Store Rd. I said “ I Live In the Cape not Punta Gorda
