My step son's school informed us of this change 2 weeks before end of the school year & trousers are a maximum of £17 for one pair! This is ridiculous & they should not expect parents to be able to fork out that much money when the same style of trousers can be bought from other places ALOT cheaper!!

They care more about how you look than what you learn

There is school uniform and there's ridiculous school uniform. A jacket with the school emblem and a distinctive tie is enough.

I won't be buy My trousers from school suppliers as far too expensive especially as logo will not be seen because the blazer will cover it up it wiould be even cheaper to get the logo embroidered on cheaper trousers and skirts how will they know where they are purchased unless they want children to go in with proof of purchase

I find this a silly cost as my son is going in to year 11 next term there for a waste of money it should be subsidised for parents that can't afford it and the current year 10 pupils that return to be year 11 pupils should be able to wear their current uniform

This is unfair to the disadvantaged families.

Ridiculous . The people who come out with these ideas need to have a go at living in the real world. I don't have children at school, but I do work with people who do and this is just of the scale . Common sense has another nail in it's coffin

You can't expect this from one of the most deprived areas in the country.

It's difficult enough affording a school uniform as a single parent without these ridiculous logo'd items and strict specification of length, measurements of the bottom of trousers. How does this impact their learning? Even the colour of underwear and hair bobble - Really!?!

To pricey, lower the cost if the logo has to be on would help all familys not just the ones on benifits or low income
