leave land untouched, There are 400 parcels in Glenshire that have not been developed . Why more parcels and traffic.

This area is pristine, beautiful and home to many species of wildlife. To develop it would not only deeply impact the ecological balance of the area, which is already compromised by drought but development would destroy an area which we all, animals and people alike, need for our well being.

Redevelop existing land into vibrant mountain uban town. Leave untouched land untouched and wild. Once you touch it you can never return it to the way it was. Urban re-development of already disturbed lots is better!

This is a vitally important wildlife corridor and must be preserved. Truckee already has ample housing to meet future needs. The developer is the only one who wants this project, the community does NOT!

Negative impact on our natural wildlife, our sensitive environment and watersheds with unnecessary sprawl. We are in our fourth year of serious drought which should be considered along with the risk of fire. Insurance companies(homeowners insurance) are already pulling out of CA due to these factors. The egress is only one way out of Glenshire in case of a disaster these are very real issues. We are and will be wasting tax payers monies on the sprawl of this project which leads to development of the project behind it once the roads are created, this could be just the beginning of continued development in eastern Truckee.
The El Dorado Hills that is coming up are Truckee residents with real concerns for our community.

We do not have the infrastructure to support this project. Being a resort town, we are inundated with tourists which makes getting around, shopping, going out to eat nearly impossible. The egress in case of a natural disaster is already seriously compromised,

Glenshire drive is way to busy. If the interstates is ever closed due to weather or accidents, Glenshire drive would only reasonable way to enter or exit the area.

What's the point of a master plan if you don't follow it? Much money already spent on finding a balance that Canyon Springs will destroy.

Drought - we are currently on water restrictions and you want to add more homes!!!!
Fire evacuation - Has anyone considered that? Especially if there are all sorts of construction vehicles moving slowly on the roads.
Traffic - you don't think the Glenshire Speedway is bad enough?!
Wildlife - What are the migrating deer and other critters to do - especially if you add exponentially to the dog and cat population! (P.S. I do love dogs and cats - this is not an indictment against them.)
Existing uncompleted lots such as the Bluffs and Elkhorn Ridge.
Glenshire Pond pollution.

Stop urban sprawl! Who are these houses really for? Save Glenshire for the animals, birds, trails, and kids

I am 100% opposed to further growth in the Glenshire area. We already have too many speeding cars and countless wildlife fatalities. Canyon Springs will be certain death to our endangered deer herd.
The east end of Glenshire Dr can not support additional traffic - it is a dangerous road and not to be overlooked.

We do NOT need more development in Truckee. Town is beyond busy.....then you throw in tourism. Too much going on. We have enough people living here full time.

There is no reason for this development! Stop urban sprawl in Truckee- we are in a drought and our wildlife needs this area to thrive! No on Canyon Springs!
