Deny Canyon Springs in Eastern Truckee

there are too many empty lots in Truckee as it is. Truckee should not be able to support a projectoutside of town limits.

This has been contentious for over 25 years and needs to be laid to rest once and for all, as we shared the fresh fallen snow last night with the deer, they said to please leave them alone in their habitat.

Open space in Glenshire is a more important amenity than is the Pool, Glenshire Store, new Pizza place. Please don't build houses over it - that's the reason we all moved here....!

No more sprawl!! Who is going to buy these homes when other developments sit vacant. Town of truckee needs to create more infill projects not "outfill". As a taxpayer, I refuse to subsidize this project

Truckee is losing the small town feel and trying to be a city with to many people and homes. Live here to be surrounded by forests and not other homes.

This would be terrible for the area on a number of fronts: wildlife, traffic, sprawl, etc.

I'm strongly against this development

Unnecessary and sprawling development which will negatively impact all of Glenshire Devonshire in regards to property values, noise pollution, traffic, and ultimately, non occupied properties.

I am opposed to Canyon Springs as proposed. Too many homes in a sensitive wildlife corridor. Please Town of Truckee deny this sprawling development!

I believe Alexis has a good handle on the issues: " proposed, is inconsistent with the Truckee General Plan, ignores significant environmental impacts such as cumulative impacts, growth inducing impacts, water quality, air quality, in-accurate traffic analysis and detrimental impacts to an established wildlife" The town of Truckee should vote this out. protect the land and make good decisions on deployment of the Land for people and the environment.

It seems Truckee is being overrun by out of town developers building mega mansions. The last thing this town needs is more sprawl. If we need new development (and I'm not at all sure that need has been clearly demonstrated) the Truckee Railyard Project is a much more community-friendly solution. Please say no to Canyon Springs.

Don't develop just for the sake of developing. There is a tremendous amount of opposition and concern for this development project from the community I respectfully request that the Planning Commission refuse to certify the Final EIR because of its inadequacies, reject the proposed Canyon Springs map, and mandate a master plan process for any future development at the site.

Oh come on! Yet again we have to fight some out-of-area developer who could care less about Truckee's quality of life, and the decline of property value? For over twenty years development in this area has been stomped out by the residents' voice! Once again we speak out! No more SPRAWL!

Please don't let this happen to our open spaces.

My family lives in Glenshire and the traffic is very bad. Lots of smoky cars. I have lots of friends here and do not need any other ones. Canyon springs will hurt the friendly deer. My dad is super worried about the mortgage and price of our home. Let it snow:) Paloma

Dear, Planning commission of The Town Of Truckee. With deep concern for the future of our Eastern Truckee home values and the already very inflated price our family is mortgaged; please deny the Canyon Springs application and require a master plan for any future developments.
