CANFAR is the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research. Concordia requires the signatures of at least 50 registered students who support my actions in beginning this club on campus. The purpose of CANFAR Concordia will be to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and funds for Canadian based research through CANFAR. This is such a great idea for the student body. We definitely need more groups like this on campus to help out with actual research.
