Agree call upon the OGA to temporarily freeze the license so that the value of the field gets maximised in accordance to all stakeholders' interest and in the UK national interest too

I don't have the legal knowledge to know whether I have been shafted or not but having lost over £30k listening to and believing the Board over the last 7 years and reading what I have over the last few days, shafted is the most accurate term I can use to describe how I feel. If Statoil pick this up for sweeties, as suggested in today's press, this stinks to high heaven. All in my opinion. Last time I ever invest in the AIM.

There are some very muddy waters which need time to clear. Suspension will provide that time.

Shareholders deliberately mislead and deceived. If nobody is held accountable then there is no hope for the UK.

It is in the North Sea oil and gas industry's interest for the licenses not to be abused especially when they are in connection with an asset of national importance. In the case of Bentley, private investors provided almost single-handedly the long term financing that the industry so badly needs.
The fire sale of Bentley would be tantamount to abuse of the license: it would create a bad example for the industry and for private investors who would wish to buy shares or finance otherwise, North Sea oil companies, if they were wiped out in such an unjustified manner.
We therefore call upon the OGA to temporarily freeze the license so that the value of the field gets maximised in accordance to all stakeholders' interest and in the UK national interest too.

From the evidence presented by the BOD it is quite possible that one or more laws may have been broken and so before shareholders see their assets in the company disappear I believe that a suspension of the licence is prudent until the BOD explain their actions to the satisfaction of the regulators and their shareholders.
