Hey guys,
As an ARGS alum, all I'm just going to say this: Wait until you get to college. For the past three weeks, I have been trudging through 3-4 feet of snow to get to class. The university has had eight TOTAL "snow days" I believe--and those have been EXTREME conditions. Think -20 degree Fahrenheit. It's on you to get to class and take exams; otherwise you suffer the repercussions. In addition, some people have schedules where they end up having to take 3-4 college exams in one day. From what I recall, ARGS teachers are fairly lenient and exams tend to be easy. In short, this is stupid, and you will all be in for a wake-up call when you graduate from high school and move onto higher education.

I think it makes sense to either cancel exams or give us half days because it is too much when some people don't get home till late at night.

I think it would be fair and a better outcome if the exams were given as scheduled on half days.

Exams are not worth the stress that this will cause most students & teachers in the upcoming week.

People have jobs and afterschool activities that they have to be involved in. Now they have to worry about testifying for exams on top of that.

I have managed to study all break, but having to take two exams in the morning and still have the energy to be able to be ready to take in new material. Assuming the new material will come with homework for that night, an abundance of stress is implemented on students. I can attest to Courtney, as I have had some stress related health concerns. I feel canceling exams will be beneficial to students as well as teachers.

I agree fully with the 2 purposes; as I student, I am very stressed out because I have college auditions coming soon and I need all the practice time I can get. I have also observed many ARGS teachers with multiple classes of the same subject complaining about how they can't keep up with where all there classes are in terms of lessons and such. With no exams, our teachers would be back on track and have less stress about how much stuff they need to grade!
