I do not believe this assessment was fair. I was reassessed last year already and think the town is taking advantage of the pandemic and hot housing market. The best thing to do would be to wait until everything settles out and then a fair assessment could taken.

Please reconsider the reassessment. The reassessment comes at a time when many people are jobless and are having a hard time paying bills. Increasing home values will in turn increase taxes that people cannot afford and will ultimately force people out of their homes. Taking advantage of an unsustainable housing market is highly unethical.

Our assessment went up 20% from the 2020 assessed value! The current assessed value is $25,000 above what we paid for the house just 6 months ago! The deadline for disputing is too short, especially under the current Covid concerns.

The town took advantage of a once in a lifetime catastrophic event. In two years they have said that my home increase in value by $60,000.00 on $199,950 tow years ago.

30 % raise is much too high. My home is not worth that much.

Property assessment increase at this time is only temporary

2nd assessment I. 2 years during a crisis is a little extreme. Just trying to collect on the hot market which can be temporary

Our home in Chili was just re-assessed in 2019. To do this again 2 years later during an unprecedented housing market which inflated home values is unfair and concerning. Not to mention we are in a pandemic where families have lost their jobs and have reduced sources of income. Renters are receiving leniency in paying their monthly housing costs during this pandemic but yet the assessor in Chili feels this is a good time to do a reassessment. Makes no logical sense.

Mine went up $32,000! I could not get anyone to see my house for 159k when I last put it in the market, no updates besides paint!
