I draw the line when there is a shootout on a main ocean street with thousands of tourists, and 3 innocent people die and many more are injured. How many more reasons does the city need ??

I can't take my children to the beach over Memorial Day weekend without worrying they may get shot! Its time to end the disgrace!

We dont't want riff raff coming into Myrtle beach at all! I believe th Black community is being rebelious and prejudice due to having a title like BACK BIKE WEEK and should be done away with!

been coming to mb for past 5 yrs.. for Harley bike week.. shame I have to leave myrtle every year because of all the trouble and trash that takes over the city for atlantic bike week.. a single professional women can not even walk the beach or boardwalks or events with out getting harassed.. I don't get that for other bike week.. they don't spend money the streets are trashed again unlike Harley bike week.. I leave and go to florida and spend my money there during that week..this needs to end.. my friend is a beat cop on s ocean blvd and he warned me way back about staying away for this bike week.. It really is hurting YOUR myrtle beach reputation!!!! and good money spending tourist are leaving ur city because of it..

We just bought a home in here and certainly are questioning our decision. We have another property here that we rent. We do not plan on staying in the area if something is not done to stop bike week. We can't enjoy this weekend with our families given the noise and violence. How sad Myrtle Beach is allowing this to continue. This should be a family friendly place, not a place known for gang and non gang violence.

It was totally tasteless the way the women during bike week dressed. I took my family to enjoy a weekend of tournament baseball and was hoping to enjoy the boardwalk, but was afraid to go because of the shootings. I thought I was actually in the Crenshaw section of L.A. Regardless of the color of one's skin, there should be a level of decency shown toward fellow human beings. Very sad that we are still faced with these racial tensions in 2014!

If they can't conduct themselves in a civil and peaceful manner then they should not be permitted back to interrupt the peaceful and civil environment that Myrtle Beach tries so hard to promote and preserve. This kind of activity will only destroy this environment and also devalue my property here in the long term and should not be allowed to persist by Myrtle Beach and everything done to discourage or end this bike week..

This event gets larger and more unruly every year. This year was the worst yet. As a longtime resident of Myrtle Beach I have grown tired of being held captive in my own home. Let's end this unwanted festival and take back our city.

FYI there is NO "WHITE BIKE WEEK".... seriously dude...who are you trying to fool...you say you look for the family oriented atmosphere...if you DO ATTEND the " Black Bike Week" you're full of it! Here's a suggestion ...HOST in in your own town!!

I agree that this needs to stop. It is pointless to let a group of people run wild and act like they own the city and harass the people who call the city home. For the people that live there year round to have to worry about their safety during the time this event is going on is just plain stupid. All of this needs to stop and if they can stop it right away then crack down on the laws during the event to the point where they dont want to go back.

It was only a matter of time before killings were a part of this particular 'fest'. The time is here, the time is now. These killings parallel an intersection that needs a stop light. Many people have to die before something is done. It is past time that this annual event be stopped.
