Ridiculous! Shameful! I am not a large woman, but certainly feel the difference - so cramped! I feel sorry for the larger people - and I don't mean x-large, just regular large. Discrimination! Shameful - just to make a buck! Ignorant!

I agree with all of these comments. They apply also to the YUL to MIA and YUL to FLL two heavily travelled routes from Montreal. There should be some AC flights available on these routes to give passengers the choice to fly in normal AC comfort and service level..

I agree. If Air Canada wants to offer a lower comfort and service option for less money, that is fine. However, it should be an option, not the standard. The Rouge flights to Fla are awfully uncomfortable and are NOT cheaper. There should still be the more comfortable flights as well and the customer should have the choice .

I have taken 3 Rouge flights (YVR-HNL, HNL-YYZ. and YYZ-LAS) and each was more than 4 hours late? The reason? When a Rouge 767 goes mechanical, AC waits for one of the other 12 to become available, imposing lengthy delays on its fare paying passengers, I find that UA flies many of these same routes, and their fares are comparable or lower to Rouge. Adieu, Aeroplan.

To the President of Air Canada:
Have you ever sat in a Rouge seat for more than 10 minutes? I dare you to take your own product to Europe.
You should be ashamed to offer this product to the public.
And as a Canadian I am ashamed that my national airline offers such a disservice.

I refuse to fly Rouge. Toronto-Las Vegas is my route. The price has gone up but the quality of service and seats has gone way down. WestJet, American and United are now getting my business.

I feel that I have to remain anonymous because I am a travel agent and we do a lot of business with AC. BUT I must say that I agree 100% with what is stated above. More and more my clients are explicitly asking if a flight I am presenting them is on Rouge and if it is then they say no. My business clients especially but also my leisure ones too. In some cases I have been told by my business clients not to even consider Rouge flights at any price.
A good example is recently I had 5 business people going to Barcelona. They are all Aeroplan members but chose BA via LHR rather than the direct Rouge flight.
Again I am seeing this more and more and I fully expect that come Christmas I will be booking more AA than AC to MIA.
In my business I am at the service of my clients so I have to give them what they want and right now nobody wants Rouge.

This is what lack of competition results in - mediocrity with a premium price. Why? Because they can!

Very narrow & crampped seating sections.
Never flew with an airline company that accepts dogs seating beside a passeger. What is wrong with your unrespectecble airline company? Food is pricy & terrible taste.

There Is no leg room and on a flight longer than one hour my knees cramp.
Tights seats, what happened to your airline!
