I support bill c-16!

I find it deeply offensive that these women claim to be "feminists". Their vision is exclusive, not inclusive, and flies in the face of everything I have always believed feminism to be.

My feminism includes all women and femmes. Trans and NB and 2S people deserve basic human rights and protections.

As a senior and grandmother to a beautiful, intelligent transgender child. Please pass this bill.

Canada should be about fairness for all, this is an important step to achieving that. Pass Bill C-16.

As a lawyer, a Trans woman and a Canadian, it's past time for the Senate to follow the Commons in doing the right thing.

Equal protection under the Canadian Human Rights Act and Canadian Criminal Code is the decent and fair thing to do. And is incredibly needed by all trans people.

Trans people are normal everyday people that need to go about their daily lives as we all do. I am an ally and worry for my friends. Please protect them.

I'm a straight, cisgender woman and I support transgender rights. Full stop, no exceptions.

I am a feminist scholar, teacher and anti-violence advocate and have been working in women serving and social service organizations for over 25 years. I also am a professor who teaches in women's and gender studies and social work. Supporting Bill C16 will create increased safety for trans and gender diverse people and will not harm women and feminist organizations. It will strengthen feminist movements. Passing Bill C16 will support the work feminists are doing and will create equity and reduce harm for many trans and two-spirit women and girls and other gender diverse people.
