Insects, butterflies in particular are an integral part of our ecosystem. The state of these precious insects are a true indicator of what we should and shouldn't do to our environmental landscape.

No more green field development. There are approximately 1.4 million vacant properties in the UK - Councils/government be creative - encourage landlords to make them available.

Butterflies are important as are the green spaces in Alton. Providing people with homes is also important but the infrastructure which is already understrain for the residents as it is, needs to be invested in. Schools and medical centres need to be expanded first to accommodate the existing population.
