Campaign to save Alton's Butterfly meadows

Will be so sad Butterfly meadows are so beautiful we are so lucky to have use of this area it will be terrible if it's used for housing.

Why encourage, but then ignore, a neighbourhood plan? Stick to the plan, support wildlife.

There are enough houses here already with a lack of infrastructure but the authorities don't care

Please stop building on our irreplaceable meadows and fields.

Love the meadows, there will soon be no where for families to go

Save the habitat for those butterflies - even the common ones are rare these days.

I'd like to see all of the green field developments around Alton cancelled. Such a pity.

Once they are gone they are gone !

Loss of key habitat - must be preserved

With both meadows and butterflies in decline nationally we should be avoiding development on such rich habitats

I've always had a soft spot for Alton, ever since my first job in 1971 - it's a proud little town and very friendly - good luck
