These programs are vital to kids! Where else will they get this type of outdoor education? Without the staff, that are certified in these various areas teaching these kids, there are no programs.

The kids absolutely loved the camp and learned so much. Not only are the children learning life skills, but they are learning to respect and care for our outdoors and wildlife. This camp gives so many children a chance to experience outdoor activities they would have never gotten to do.

Please protect the funds for community outreach programs like the Camp Mohawk Nature Camp. Programs like these are vital to educate youth to protect and respect nature. Keeping them affordable encourages participation in the camp. Please no more cuts to the funds that support these programs.

My son really benefitted from going to Nature Camp this week. It was so thought out and planned. He would come home so excited for all that he learned and did while at camp. This keeps kids off devices and in nature learning during the down time of the summer.

I'm shocked at how our county has decided to budget funding for the county parks. I'm hoping this petition raises awareness and concern to others how our elected officials continue to accept salary increases while decreasing funds across several departments.
