I was very blessed to recently find out via African Ancestry DNA that I share maternal ancestry (the lineage through my mother's line) with the Mafa people of Cameroon. I cried when I read the findings because now I know where my maternal lineage originated. It would be most beneficial if Cameroon would offer dual citizenship for descendants of the Cameroonian slaves that were wrongfully taken from their homeland centuries ago. I want to visit my maternal ancestral homeland, and I would love to share dual citizenship with Cameroon.
