The massive surge in support proves that our community is fed up with the council leaving our loved ones' graves vulnerable to these sick vandals. This momentum shows the local authorities that they can no longer ignore the need for cameras at Hazelhead Cemetery.

totally agree with this.. my baby niece had something stolen off her grave.. I think cameras up threre would be a great idea.. sick people stealing or vandalising graves is just sick.. have some respect for people that has sadly passed away x
Absolutely vile, the council pay out & waste money left right & centre , pay out to save grieving families going through more heartache
I think security cameras should be put in place as this seems to be a reoccurring event that happens to the poor family's headstone! Disgusting it's to go this far but it's the only way around scaring these sick individuals off!!
This kind of behaviour is not exceptable :( My angel sons forever bed is at hazelhead i would be heartbroken if anything like this happened i think cameras is a great idea as people have removed things from by sons grave such a horrible feeling :( I hope this goes ahead :)
i feel really strongly about this as we haven't been able to put nothing up for our mum as we fear it will be destroyed or stolen, not haven eny where to visit makes this loss that little bit harder
I would not like to think how I would feel if some toke anything away from my son grave
Its not cheap to bury someone and their last resting place should b safe

I have had an ornament stolen of my fathers grave this year already one that my mum put down and it upset her.Cameras is a great idea.
