This petition is to give your voice of whether or not you think that retail cannabis stores should operate within the Town. This petition is to put that question on this year's ballot during Town Meeting Day. The wording on the ballot would be as follows:
"Shall the Cambridge permit the operation of cannabis retailers that are licensed by the State of Vermont under Act 164, beginning in October of 2022, such sales also being subject to any city ordinances or regulations that the Town of Cambridge may lawfully adopt?"

The wording needs to be clearer so people know what they are voting on.

Legalize it and collect the tax money for local roads.
We absolutely should allow the legal sale of Cannabis and Cannabis products in the Town of Cambridge and Jeffersonville.
