The arts are a unique asset in Frederick.
They are a driver of hospitality, tourism and restaurant participation.
As the community prepares to receive the latest round of federal Covid-19 relief via the American Rescue Plan, we ask our community leaders to prioritize the arts as a key economic catalyst in Frederick.
Covid-19 has had a staggering impact on Frederick's cultural sector just when our county needs the arts the most.
We look forward to being a partner in shaping critically needed support to the arts made possible by this relief.

As a local Frederick artist, I support American Rescue Plan funding to support the arts in Frederick, Md
The Ausherman Family Foundation have invested heavily in the arts in our Frederick community. We also attend and miss the vibrancy that the arts add to our downtown. Please help those organizations and artists that have provided so much joy!
We opened our gallery, DISTRICT Arts, in Frederick because we love the way the visual and performing arts help define the community.
Frederick supports the comradery of so many artists working together for each other, and the community. For over thirty years, I've been enchanted by the city, and its artistic culture, which has expanded greatly in the time I've been here. As a proprietor of Gallery 322, I can attest to the many out of town visitors that the Frederick arts culture attracts.
This facility has become a milepost in the community. People not only come to see this unique venue they are also supporting the various artists who have performed or displayed their art. Sky Stage is a major building block in creating the critical mass of venues that make Frederick an Art Destination.
Look it up! Facts are facts: Art is an economic necessity in all of America's towns and communities. Truly: Look it UP!

Can’t think of anything that has or will have more impact on the Frederick Community. Too often, arts are the first cut we make when funding is tight. Well, funding isn’t tight now. We are beginning to see the cracks from Covid-19. Now we can do something to prevent those cracks from getting any worse and causing permanent damage.
