Eritrea is always doing its uppermost to denounce hunger,illiteracy,providing health services both rural and urban, trying use natures resource , striving to maintain economic stability and rescu external intrusion form belligerent neighbors etc.. The Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in Eritrea UNOG-UHCHR 8-14 Rue de la Paix CH-1211 Geneva 10 Switzerland DATE, 11.01.2016 Dear Members of COI Eritrea, as a COUNTRY-Eritrean citizen and member of the Eritrean Civil Society of COUNTRY, I am expressing my disappointment of the conclusion taken upon my home country Eritrea. Appreciating the UN organisations’ ground values, I am sorrowed by the experience made of the late developments of the COI report on Eritrea, specifically. This letter is addressed to criticise this alleged report, that whether reflects the reality on ground, nor the methodology of an objective analysis for the purpose of the wellbeing of the Eritrean people at first hand. Beside the sum of allegations raised upon Eritrea, I will focus mainly on the methodology of analysis and accumulation of information. Without drawing the worst conclusion and affect to the Eritrean State and people, this mission should try to protect, the case of migration is being politically distorted and manipulated. The issue of migration is global phenomenon with various push and pull factors, of which not only Eritrea is being affected but the many regions of Africa. The single orientated research of conducting interviews with Eritrean refugees exclusively, are being victimized by the cause to compromise on the real reason for emigrating to not misplay the chance of asylum. The asylum policy in itself supports this by guaranteeing the asylum in the case of national service. This even leads to that non-Eritreans are of use to claim to be Eritrean for the sake of asylum guarantee, which has been approved by many countries in the test of country origin. Furthermore, the COI has not accumulated any information from international diplomats, NGO’s and/or companies residing in Eritrea to attain any picture of the inside of Eritrea. Nor did the COI has taken the insight and knowledge of the Eritrean Civic Society as a source of information, that Mrs. S

If the most human , peaceful and harmonious countries like eritrea are demonized in the way the the COIE did from fabricated and charged evidences the i don't know what human rights is.....The COIs report is a joke or the devils fantasy for me as an Eritrean young female. The eritrean army is the most disciplined army of the world. And sexual abuse is unheard of, except for those women who want to build thier case for asylum. They dont have a choice except creating a story that the eruopian immigration authorities want to hear....And if you use that to conclude that there is a human rights abuse in that country, then that shows how inefficient your methods are to capture the truth....Apologies for the People and government of Eritrea for distorting the reality and demonizing thier otherwise excellent records.
