Glyphosate has been demonstrated to have pernicious effect on the general environment. It is not essential to productivity. It should be banned.

Wandsworth Council, please stop killing our wildlife by banning Roundup. Other councils throughout the country have banned it. As a Green borough, you should be doing the same. Thank you.

To be the greener borrow WBC aims to be mature trees that already exist CAN NOT BE CUT AND MORE OF THE SAME MUST BE PLANTED. REDEVELOPMENTS OF AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE BASIS OF WBC SELLING LAND THAT CONTAINS TREES AND IF SELLING LAND THAT CONTAINS ONE OR TWO THAT SHOULD BE SOLD DETERMINING THAT PLANNING FOR BUILT AREA MUST KEEP THE TREES INTACT. TREES BELONG TO THE ENVIRONMENT THAT ALL IN THE BOROUGH SHARE AND CERTAIN AREAS IN THE BOROUGH ALREADY DO.NOT HAVE ENOUGH OF THEM. THE GREENER AREAS IN THE ENTIRETY OF BOROUGH ARE THE MORE ENJOYABLE LIVING IN THEM AND THE GREENER THE BOROUGH ARE THE HIGHER IS THE VALUE OF PROPERTIES AND THE LESSER ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR BECAUSE GREENERY ATTRACTS WILD LIFE AND BIRDS AND NATURE HAS ITS WAY TO PRODUCE CALMNESS AND WELL BEING. We have to rewild our cities as one of the solutions to mitigate and adapt to climate change - catastrophe far bigger than this current pandemic. Banning glyphosate is the easiest step to do it!

For the first time in forever we have hit a pause button in "business as usual" and taken time to look around. One of the unqualified blessings of this time for me and my family has been increased awareness of nature in the city. We have loved the birdsong, the insect life and above all the pavement plants that have brightened our walks around Tooting. Please let's not lose the gains we have made this springtime.

The council needs to rethink it's approach to biodiversity in the borough for the sake of human and all other forms of life. Please encourage wild plants to flourish rather than regarding them as weeds. Round up is toxic and unnecessary
