I deeply agree with the avoidance of pesticide & weedkiller in Wandsworth. For the risk it poses versus the life that can flourish without it. Who wouldn't want the stop poisoning our environment?!

ROUNDUP is toxic to ALL life, including humans! We need every diverse creature we have, however big or small, and it is the small ones that live on the weeds and flowering plants that provide nectar and pollen. If our small pollinators can’t find food, it means ultimately humans won’t have food either.

Chemical pesticides use in urban green space, agriculture & gardening is a key driver if ‘Insectageddon’ - the decimation of the vital insect pollinators we depend on for our fruit & vegetable food crops through loss of habitat, industrial chemicals, fertilisers, biological pathogens & invasive species and climate change. Spraying unnecessary chemical pesticide that is toxic to both insects AND humans is madness defined. We are endangering our own very existence using glyphosate Roundup. Wandsworth Council please stop this practice immediately to retain any credence of ‘green’ aspirations.

This is a time to reassess all our activities and how nature has proven a real salve to our community. Roundup is a extremely damaging product that does more harm than good. Please reconsider its use.

I often wondered why bees were dying on my carpet in the front room -(they got in through the gaps in the old sash windows).
Then I found out that you were using glysophate! !! What fool sanctioned that? Literally killing the hand that feeds you.
STOP STOP STOP THIS MADNESS -Please please please.
and whilst you're at it -please stop mowing down every blade of grass and every wild flower that tries to live which brightens our existence and nature's provides as food for insect life including the BEES - PLEASE take care of BEES !!!
