Given the robust scientific evidence proving the terribly harmful side affects of RoundUp, it’s shocking that there isn’t a universal ban on this toxic substance. In the 21st century, people and planet deserve better than this conscious scourge on our health and biodiversity... all to line the pockets of companies like Bayer-Monsanto. There are other wonderful eco-friendly alternatives for keeping plants in check - please see sense and heed the message of this petition!

Nature needs protecting and round up kills everything especially if sprayed in the day when bees and butterflies are around

Remember DDT? It was considered a wonder pesticide until we learned about its not so wonderful side effects on human health. I believe we will consider glyphosate in the same light once we know even more than we already do. Let's ban it for good now, rather than wait as long as we did with DDT!

Ban glyphosate and hold back on mowing. Let nature breathe and us with it

I'm surprised it's still being used by the Council.

This is an outrage, with declining biodiversity it seems ludicrous to continue to use these noxious chemicals on precious wildlife in London!

50% reduction in animals since 70s. Gardens are dead zones because of these substances, which reduce bird numbers too.

High time the council became much more progressive in its attitudes. Local people want to see more natural parks that are safer for people and wildlife. Ban this awful substance now!

The WHO has identified this as a carcinogen & Bayer have legal cases against them in the US they have lost for people affected by cancer attributed to glyphosate!

Weeds are just wild flowers and very important to our ecology. Don't kill them.

This should not be happening & the Council must stop using this week killer immediately. I & my family do NOT want to have toxic week killer sprayed anywhere near our house. Wildlife & us deserve better!!
