We've done it in our area, and it's amazing how much insect and bird life thrived. Bumble bees on the streets, birds finding nesting material.

Peaticide use represents a public and environmental healthemergency. Why are they still being used? Why are other approaches which negate the need for these toxic chemicals not being promoted?

As the Brighter Borough Wandsworth should be leading the way on this - not lagging behind

Roundup has been shown to be detrimental to human health. It would be good for us all if WW could look at management of spaces with a view to encouraging biodiversity, not killing living organisms that are an essential part of the web of life to which we belong.

Glyphosate is toxic to rhizobia, the bacterium that fixes nitrogen in the soil. It also is linked to increased risk of Non Hodgkin's lymphoma

Over 30 years, Jennifer Owen recorded 2673 different species of life in her Leicester garden. I wonder how many species she would have recorded had she used Glyphosate?

I support this petition fully. Glyphosate has proven to cause both environmental and health issues and should be banned immediately.
