This stuff should have been banned on its conception.

It would be another step towards preserving the planet for future generations. And to lessen the risk of cancer

This is outrageous and needs to stop: aside from the general population, specifically this is putting worrying chemicals into contact with young children. Let wildlife take over because the council are wrecking our green spaces as long as these pesticides prevail. I want to see more eco managed parks, wildflower beds, allowing natural solutions such as wilderness sections where as much wild diversity can flourish: nettles/ brambles etc. Leave dandelions, moss etc in the grass areas who cares as long as it’s safe and doesn’t harm our babies and kill off precious and vital pollinators such as bees and butterfly’s. It’s time for a big rethink Wandsworth!

The world is facing biodiversity collapse. Glyphosate is replacable.

Have been gardening organically for 37 years! Detest such chemicals. Read the news about glyphosate residues in peoples bodies. As Dave Goulson writes in “The Garden Jungle” people are peeing weed killer. Yes glyphosate residues are in people’s pee!

Ban immediately. It is totally unnecessary and your environment will be the better without it.

Use of glyphosphate isn't necessarily in the type of green spaces Wandsworth Council manages. A few more flowering weeds might actually benefit insect and bird life.

There is no excuse for this
