Very concerning that a government body can try and receive it's constituency. Income generating business are needed not a prison. Who will run it ? G4s are renowned for losing prisoners. And what about additional traffic. The infra structure I would not sustain this. Is there enough room to ensure security and sufficient boundaries. Far too close to homes and schools.

Winsford. Has been neglected for years and needs an enormous facelift to bring people back into the town. A prison would be an even more depressing site

Totally against a Prison on or around the industrial estate, money should be put in jobs and getting businesses onboard the estate.

We do NOT want a prison in Winsford. Chester West & Chester are only concerned with Chester area. Build one in Kinnerton or Blacon if they really think the area needs one. We defininitly need to be consulted over this.

Why Winsford? Is there no other town on CWAC. How about building a town centre with shops. That is something other towns seem to have. Winsford has a bad name already and building a prison will go nowhere in helping it rise above the name.

we need investment coming into the area and this proposal if it goes ahead will put Winsford back years,business needs to be encouraged into the area this cannot be allowed to get off the drawing board

I just can't believe this. No consultation or anything. How is this the best site? Why are CWAC not helping Winsford with investment to attract big brands to invest? This will get them to run even further away!! Labour hold power by 1 in CWAC...we have 7 labour winsford CWAC councillors. ..they best vote NO. Next Wednesday in Chester is the next meeting...this is all GO so far....only people power can stop this...Democracy is not only on Polling Day...Winsford residents and members of industry ..time to stand up. ..30k voices need to say NO together....let Chester or Tarporley have the Prison. JOBS NOT JAILS FOR WINSFORD
