Climate change is already here and for millions climate crisis is already evident and causing serious harm to living worlds across the planet. Climate chaos is bearing down on us at high speed. Only a broad convergence of peoples across the world can stop the runaway train.

It is an urgent concern for all of Humankind.

I am adding my voice to the demands that the United Nations declare a Global Climate Emergency - that is, formally recognise the crisis scenario outlined in the latest findings by UN-initiated Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). In addition, the petition demands that the UN follow this up with a just, equitable and ecologically sound emergency action plan formulated in consultation with all stakeholders.
