Is mise Caitliceach. Tá an iomarca cruthaithe dearfa - ní féidir leis an Eaglais áiseanna poiblí a thairiscint. Ní comhúdarás poiblí ceart a bhíonns san Eaglais. Déan obair mhaith dheonach don phobail. Cabhair leo agus iad féin á n-athrú. Is é sin an chaoi cheart chun lorg a chur ar an tír.

Tá sé iontach tabhachtach dom é a dhéanamh chomh luath agus is feidir.

Tá sé thar am an Eaglais Caitliceach a scaradh ón Sait. Tá a ré rite . . . . Tá an deabhal i gceannas anois agus is beag gur féidir a dhéanamh

As a mother of two 1/2 Welsh, 1/2 Irish girls and aunt of Irish cousins I feel passionately thatyou must come in line with the rest of Europe in the 21st century

I am not in favor of terminating a pregnancy. But I am not in favor of Irish girls going to England to do so. But Church and State must be separated. They are two separate entiities.

Mexico has it. The Philippines has it. It's high time and even far beyond the time for Ireland to have it.

I despair of Ireland - a hovel with absolutely no respect for women. Nothing has changed. The same morons coming out with the same crap, day and night. Not a civilised place. Irish Politicians - as corrupt a breed as can be found anywhere on earth! Shame on you Ireland ! You rot to the core !

Teach religion at home and in the church but separate the church and State it is the only fair way to run a government, the only safe way for all.

Never Forget the Tuam Babies Like They Did. Retweet, Facebook and Email. Take part in moving Ireland out of the dark ages.

As a former infant once incarcerated with the nuns because of family difficulties, (my mother died when I was 1 year old), I still shudder when I think of the bullying and harassment we collectively suffered at the hands of these alleged (Angels of Mercy).

A secular state is the only solution to such mind-numbing abuse of power as the Tuam orphanage. Secularism in the true sense: an unpartisan state that favours no religious denomination above another. A state whose lawmaking is based solely on humanist principles. Let people worship whom or what they choose. But let them do it quietly, keeping their insane beliefs to themselves, and not foisting them on others. And please, oh please: let them refrain from inculcating their innocent children with potentially homicidal beliefs.

its way past time for this ..... the rule of law should be used to close this vile secret society that preys on the minds and bodies of our young . Jail all the perpetrators and their protectors

This needs to happen. It's a disgrace that this hasn't happened sooner. In light of what was discovered in Tuam recently, no one (not that I did anyway) can argue that morality and ethics stem from "God" or Religion. This is now very very clear. Get the church out of our lives completely.

There has been too much needless suffering resulting from the Church's political power in Ireland. It's time for this to end.

If the police were to investigate the Catholic church and the litany of institutionalized child abuse and murder with the same gusto as 'Operation Yew Tree', it would bring down the entire House of Cowards and serve justice upon them. Why is it that to this day the full extent of criminal law has never been applied to the church, even though we all now KNOW FOR A FACT SYSTEMIC CHILD ABUSE AND PAEDOPHILIA WERE RAMPANT? ENOUGH!!!
