Women and men of Europe, let us say it out loud! Humiliation of women is not allowed in Europe of 21st century. It has no place in democratic society. It has no place in European Parliament. That is why women and men, equal in dignity, rights, values and capabilities, demand your resignation, MEP Janusz Korwin Mikke until 8 March 2017, international women's day.

This petition is response to discussion of MEP Janusz Korwin Mikke at the plenary of European Parliament on wednesday, 1 March 2017. These are his words about gender pay-gap:

Janusz Korwin-Mikke (NI), blue-card question. – "Do you know which was the place in the Polish theoretical physics Olympiad, the first place of women, of girls? I can tell you: 800th. Do you know how many women are in the first 100 chess players? I can tell you: not one. Of course women must earn less than men because they are weaker, they are smaller, they are less intelligent, and they must earn less. That is all."

His statement is unacceptable, discriminatory and humiliating for women. It is also against all non-discrimination acts and it violates human rights. This is why we, women and men of Europe demand resignation of MEP. Here is a link to his discussion (19. Gender pay-gap (debate), no.8): http://www.europarl.europa.eu/plenary/en/debate-de...

Far reaching conclusions from one single example proves MEP Mikke is rather unfit for the position. If we used the same logic, MEP MIkke's statement would mean that all European Parliamentarians are misogynists. If it is illogical, then it was political and by being so, it was extremely discriminatory.

I do not want to support this person with my money as a tax payer. I do not agree to his presence in European Parliament and I do not agree with his statements as an educated woman working and successfully competing with men on a daily basis in technical industry.

I'm ashamed that such person represent my country in EU, I strongly and completely disagree with statement made by this man. In my opinion he is absolutely not capable to function in a world of modern European politics, and should be dismissed.

I am outrages that such person is granted a huge salary, allowance and lifetime pension paid from the EU budget. As a EU citizen and taxpayer, I demand his resignation and withdrawal of lifetime MEP pension.

Your duty as an MEP is to all citizens of the EU, women as well as men, from the other 27 states as well as Poland. This statement about women's place in the world shows that you are failing in this duty.
