We need a mayor that our girls can look up to and aspire to become mayor when they grow up. This is an embarrassment to our city.

Resign! You are a liar and a cheat. If you have no loyalty for your family, I certainly would not expect the tax paying citizens of Nashville would be able to ever count on your loyalty to Nashville. I have no respect for the mayor and would like to see her charged for all the expenses Metro has incurred while having her affair on our dime. I would think a person or citizen would have to be pretty gullable to think you never had sex while on duty. Not likely did she meet at her house or his house and they surely wouldn't check into a hotel or motel because they would easily be identified. Unless they were having sex in their cars, where else could it happen unless on the clock and in the mayors chambers.

End the selfishness and put the citizens of Nashville first, resign. How do you expect those conducting business with the city of Nashville to trust you? You insult the citizens of Nashville by lying, stating your trips were strictly business. Yeah right, some might lack common sense but I know that a normal individual that goes to Athens Greece on business and is accompanied by someone they're romantically involved with is going to partake in some extra curricular activities. You act as if you're forthcoming on this matter by telling more lies. If you were a male, you would have been forced out of office the day this was made public. Prior to politics, you held a position as a compliance / ethics officer so if anybody should know better it would be you. You don't dip the pen in company ink. At this point I hope for your sake that your stubbornness doesn't lead to criminal charges due to misappropriation of tax payer funds. RESIGN!!

Although I like and respected Mayor Megan Barry, she has violated her own executive ethics order, and has my trust in her leadership here in Nashville.

If the same scandal happened in a corporate setting, the executive would be fired. Regardless, the people must be able to trust their Mayor. How can we trust her judgment on anything now? She has disgraced the office and must resign.

Didn't her son recently die of a drug overdose? Would these types of families be considered as 'DYSFUNCTIONAL"? It is the "NEW" democrat party ever since the kennedy bunch! ALL SO VERY SAD!

I thing with the wide spread corruption in politics megan barry should resign. The last thing a growing city needs is a ethical scandal looming over its head.

She needs to step down. She no longer represents Tennesseans or herself with dignity or respect for herself , state or country. Be gone Meagan.

This is not the behavior we want to accept or condone in our elected officials. This is not the message we want to send to our youth and the future voters of Tennessee. We can and must be forgiving but, actions have consequences. This is not acceptable behavior for a mayor of any city.
