Trust was broken on so many levels to so many people-family, friends, co-workers, and Nashvillians! Now the shining image that Nashville has enjoyed for so many years, although not all of us who live here are overjoyed with being the "IT CITY", is tarnished. Mayor Barry should be held to the ethical standards that her office requires. How can the city of Nashville continue to function at its highest level with the difficulties that will surround Metro Government for untold months? Always a champion of women's rights, I am saddened that the Mayor's behavior no longer is example of what women can achieve to my three daughters and granddaughters as well the high school young women I have taught. It is past time to resign!

Time to go. Our children are watching. They see the hypocrisy and the unrepentant, blatant disregard for fidelity and honesty.

She needs to resign. Barry is in it for fame and special treatment, not for the benefit of Nashville.

Mayor broke fiduciary trust with the people of Nashville. Not possible to assure the people without a doubt of accurate accounting of the taxpayers money during away trips the two made alone such as the one to Greece. #cloudofmistrust

Mayor Barry broke fiduciary trust with the people of Nashville. How would you ever assure the people of an accurate financial accounting of the two while away on trips just the two of them. Not possible.

This a statement release by Megan Berry when Councilman Lionel Green got shot:
Nashville Mayor Megan Barry said Greene did the right thing by resigning.
"Nashville deserves to have elected leaders they can trust to uphold the law and serve as role models," she said. "I hope whoever is elected to replace Mr. Greene to serve Council District 1 will do just that.”

Resign asap. Mayor Barry should've already resigned. She is impossible to trust and unethical at her core.
Ethics and judgement are in serious question
