Justice for Stephen Lawrence: Calling for a Public Inquiry into Police Corruption

19 years on from the racist murder of Stephen Lawrence, we have only partial justice. The past 19 years have exposed a litany of police failures and cover-ups, let not a single police officer has been investigated let alone held to account. Doreen Lawrence met with the Home Secretary Theresa May last week to demand a public inquiry into police corruption. This would help not only with the quest for justice for Stephen Lawrence, but for countless other victims of racial violence. With our current Conservative government, this will be a difficult demand to realise unless we can bring about mass mobilisation on this issue. Please sign here and pass on to your friends and family, to demand that the British government conducts an official inquiry into police corruption.
