A very important issue that our government should have taken care of a long time ago. Instead they've chosen to ignored it. It can no longer be ignored we must create a solution Now!

As a former resident of Orange County, CA with many friends still living in the area of San Onofre, I strongly support moving the nuclear waste there to higher ground. Better still would be to shut down this potentially dangerous reactor completely.

I am terrified about the danger posed by the waste storage at San Onofre. This is not the time to delay action. Other countries have done a much better job at dealing with these issues and provide models how to do it.

We need to acknowledge the high risks associated with this technology that is no longer needed with free wind and sun power.

Government incompetence and corporate greed at its worst, and on display every day. Fix it now.

Please remove the 1,800 TONS of toxic radioactive spent fuel nuclear waste that was "DUMPED" 100 feet from the Pacific Ocean between two major population centers in thin wall steel canisters that are only rated for a 40 year life at San Onofre, CA. Be Responsible, Clean Up Your Waste!!!!!

The urgency for intervention for a viable plan for the nuclear waste at San Onofre and its safe storage cannot be underestimated. The oean and entire communities could conceivably be closed for decades should there be an earthquake, with of without an tsunami, or a tremendously active storm, which would release radioactive waste. Please ACT!

The placement of radioactive nuclear waste containers so close to the ocean is and was ill-conceived planning. They must be moved sooner rather than later.

The stakes are too high to ignore or defer action on the spent nuclear waste at San Onofre. Look at crumbling cliffs and shorelines to the north and south. Please take action swiftly to remove this threat to the public and the environment.

Move the waste to higher ground or away from the area. A disaster will affect livelihoods, home prices and the environment. We cannot afford to let this happen!

The spent fuel at San Onofre needs to move away from the beach and preferably to a permanent storage location still TBD!
