Half ice for 10u would have an adverse impact on player development.

I don’t believe that the squirts program should be on half ice. It should remain full ice games, as it currently is and working well for the development of this age group.

Kids of 10U are too big for a half ice game.

This would be an absurdly misguided move and stunt the development of many high-end prospects from the California area.

Please reconsider! This would be a disservice to the kids!

There are myriad ways to improve player development, costs, and player experience at the 10u level. Changing to half ice is not one of them.

I play across the country, and for kids a 10 year olds size, the half ice is ridiculous, in NY, 8U isn’t even half ice, it’s 3/4, so to expect AAA 10U kids, who are quick, to play on half ice is absurd. What if the ice is too tiny and they crash too much and get hurt, who’s fault? CAHA, don’t do half ice, trust me.
