I started this because I missed that piece of our history and I am honestly shocked that so many of you do too. Reading your stories about where you were during that game has been deeply moving and confirms that this tradition truly belongs to all of us.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people still care about this banner after all these years. If you could please send this link to a few folks who remember that day, I think we might actually reach that first hundred milestone today because of your hard work.

ITS NOT THE BIG GAME WITHOUT THE BANNER. BRING IT BACK.
That banner is pure tradition. Nothing beats seeing it fly high during the game. Put it back where it belongs!

kinda sad they havent fixed it yet. honestly feels like something is missing from memorial stadium every time i go.
Fix the pole and replace the banner. It is part of the cal spirit and we deserve to have it back after all these years.
