This road is absolutely ridiculous and the narrowing at the blind spot is beyond me. How is anyone supposed to know if there is a vehicle approaching from the other side? One of the first lessons when learning how to drive is not to overtake an obstacle on a blind corner yet this was totally disregarded.

In order to get to the end of Church Road at the cross, one much wait behind the parked cars some 50yards from the end and GUESS if cars are going to turn into the road.

Monies would have been better spent, totally resurfacing the road and the potholes!
The narrowing of the road on a junction and blind bend is shocking, how was that allowed by planners?

I have complained to MCC about the state of Church Road and not received a reply - very poor customer service. The state of the road is even worse and is a major accident waiting to happen. I just hope that no-one is serious injured or worse.

Shocking waste of tax payers money. I'll conceived planning. Poor workmanship. Has mad an already dangerous road even more so. Narrowing by the church has made a blind corner even more dangerous. You cannot see oncoming traffic at all until you are on top of it. The drains abutting the kerbs in the yellow sections are all sunk. There is no safe place for children to cross when entering or leaving the school. The list is endless. A bus stop outside the chinese will without doubt cause a bottleneck regardless of the time constraints of the service. Would love to know at what time of day the surveyors attended the road to draw up their very inadequate plans???

I almost got hit by a lorry not giving way opposite the Church in the ridiculously narrow section, and to narrow 10 metres in from a junction at the Cross end is just absurd. Clearly designed by someone without a driving licence.

I live at the Cross church road , new junction markings too far back as cannot see the road at all , people walking and cycling across it's a junction onto a road not a cyclepath onto a pavement ? All so dangerous.

You’ve managed to make a road that was rubbish to drive down before even worse now. Queuing when coming down from Sandy lane to turn left on church road is ridiculous.

Shambles... just a complete shambles. Corner by church is dangerous but so is turning into church road by the Chinese.... cars piling up, you can't always see what's coming down church road towards the town ... I've had cars nearly go into the back of me as they turn then we have to come to an abrupt halt ... complete nightmare the whole road
