We are requesting that effective in 2013, CADORA Ontario revise the qualifying criteria for the Silver Dressage Championships and Awards from “scores from three competitions” to “scores from three judges”. This eliminates the disadvantage that our competitors currently experience by competing at our two day silver shows.

I have sent a formal letter to the CADORA Ontario board outlining the specific disadvantages caused by the current competition structure. We are now waiting for a confirmation of a meeting to present the data regarding how three-judge scoring would improve equity for riders at two-day shows.

Totally agree. Cant believe it took this long to point out how unfair this is for us.
So frustrating when the rules dont make sense for the shows we actually have available. Change it!
Yes! We need this change right now. Its about time the rules matched reality.
This would be so much better for everyone involved. Please make the change already!
Makes way more sense to go by judges. The old way is just punishing people who don't have the time to travel all over the province.

Finally some common sense. It is way to hard to qualify under the current rules if you only do two day shows. Please fix this.
