Cabarrus County Citizens AGAINST NC House Bill 463 Proposed by Rep. Larry Pittman

please table this bill to allow the citizens of Cabarrus county an opertunity to be a part of the process. We the citizen need hearings and information to understand how this legislation will impact us in our county.

Has Carl Ford moved to Cabarrus County? If not he shouldn't have been in the meeting. NO NO NO! That should be against NC Constitutional Law. Pittman is taking lessons from Justin Burr of Stanly Co:: Burr has successfully pushed through some ridiculous "laws" that would never pass with Cabarrus. Pittman is a loose cannon. I take offense to his negative comment abt Concord too! If he's not happy here, he should move his radical beard-wearing self to Stanly or Montgomery (no offense to those counties). For a person who hides behind the weak fact that "he's a minister" I dont think Im alone in wondering if he's in both just for the power & money! Stand your ground, Linda Johnson & Sen Hartsell! Our GA is messed up enough without this radical expecting autonomy. Thank you Dianne Honeycutt for representing THE ENTIRE County! And Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to voice our opinion.

Please vote NO on HB 463. It smells like a hidden agenda. If not, it's apparent that Mr. Pittman doesn't live up to his word.

This is a naked attempt to limit citizens' ability to vote for all those who will be representing us on our Board of Commissioners. Please reject!

Citizens need time to review this bill that affects us all.

The community needs the time to thoroughly understand the impact, both positive or negative, of this bill.

I resent having any legislation being rammed through without citizen input. If Mr.Pittman thinks he is representing my interests as a citizen of this county or even the state, he is badly mistaken.

Rep. Pittman, this is Cabarrus County's issue. Keep your Hands out of it.

I have been a Cabarrus County resident for 9 years. Give us a chance to talk about this issue before you try to shove it down our throats.

I do not support H463 to increase the respresentation of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners to 7 nor to change Cabarrus County to district voting with one at large member. There has been no public input into this process nor support from any of the other representatives from our area.

You must give the citizens of Cabarrus County time to understand WHY this is even being submitted.

This is a issue that Cabarrus County Commissioners should with input form it citizens should decide. It needs time to discuss and allow ALL to comment and then ASK our State representatives to act on. Not the other way around. That of The State representatives ( FORD & Pittman ) as they are now proceeding .

I do not support this bill and would also ask for it to be removed from consideration by the NC House.

I do not think most citizens in our county have any idea that this bill is being proposed and I do not understand why it is even a priority. There are major issues that Mr. Pittman should be addressing like education and teacher salaries.

I want a BOC that speaks for ALL of Cabarrus County.
