Cabarrus County Citizens AGAINST NC House Bill 463 Proposed by Rep. Larry Pittman

We finally got the Commission straightened out by public vote to oust local nuts. I have not heard any benefit from adding to membership.

I am opposed to this bill. We want commissioners who work for everyone in the county, not just their district.

This is Simple enough for a 5th. grader to figure out . Dividing the County into Districts create Teams , Teams create Competition , Competition creates self serving District Decisions . Therefore Districts would be a mistake . The Same as State and Fed. districts = Pork Barrels & B.S. !

I am opposed to this bill. We do not need more commissioners.

I'm not sure why anyone would propose a bill without the general public being allowed to view it first, especially in such a short span of time. This is how problems are created and then the future generations spend years trying to undo what was created without a balanced and fair process of decision making from their predecessors.

The decision is strictly local whether to send a bill to the General Assembly that would change the constitution of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners. Such a bill should not be submitted to the General Assembly unknown to the public and local governments, and without any opportunity for comment by public officials or private citizens. We trust the members of the N.C. House will reject this fly-by-night effort to reconstitute the county board for the will convenience of one state representative.

Let the people have a say in this !

I want to be able to vote for all commission slots. Not just 2.
