C.C. Little was a part of the university, but his actions reflect a dreadful way of thinking that is insidious and dangerous. We should not honor him in this way.

I really hope the name of this building gets changed, despite his presidency, no one who did what he did should be glorified on our campus.

Glad to see this is finally getting the attention it should. This building name has made me uncomfortable for years as a Black student on this campus, and I hope if this is approved it will get renamed after someone more appropriate.

C.C. Little is a known eugenicist. He has no place on this campus, and especially not on a pedestal.

Honestly the university needs to put their money where their mouth is.

My grandfather was a smoker for much of his life until it was widely accepted that smoking causes lung cancer, COPD, heart disease, etc. He passed away from COPD in 2008. As an apologist for the tobacco industry, he contributed to millions of preventable deaths. For this and his advocacy of eugenics, his legacy should not be honored here at the University of Michigan.

C. C. Little needs to go. Students of Color deserve to feel welcomed and safe on campus!!! We are supposed to be the leaders and best so we shouldn't have buildings named after white supremacists/terrorists!!!
