Only fair and reasonable that we all get at least 10% discount on our accommodation to compensate for the fact we have lived on a loud, disorganised building site for the last three months. We pay the same as gill street south and they deal with none of iit. It's disgusting.

Absolutely disgusted that we are still being woken early on a morning due to building work going on directly beneath us, what was meant to be a pretty up to date and sound student environment has been completely a let down, paying nearly £6000 a year for this? If i were to go ahead and say now, i wouldn't pay £3000 for this.

Have been completely dissatisfied with what was supposed to be a top of the range brand new student accommodation. Constant noise from builders all hours of the day, broken windows, broken doors, broken lifts, no laundry facilities when we moved in, UPP staff who have no idea what they are doing, workmen letting themselves into flats and rooms whenever they please, access to stairs blocked due to being incomplete. The list is endless.

The work at the weekends did my head in.

Been greatly affected by the constant drilling and noise. Fed up waking up to drilling and to find strange workmen in my kitchen completely unannounced.

For a substantial amount of money they made students pay it is absolutely ridiculous how this building couldn't be finished on arrival of us moving in. Not only has it disrupted our studies but has effectively disturbed our experience of becoming independent students living on our own.

we have all recieved an email appologising for this inconvenience, and they want to throw a party to say sorry :/. doubt thats going to help anything. i couldnt open my window the first term because of the frustrating noise! we need money compensation not a party!

Constantly disturbed throughout the day, 7am - 7pm, I can never open my window when i am studying as it is so loud. People are constantly in my flat fixing problems that should not be there. Everywhere is constantly blocked off and making it difficult to pass around the accommodation.

have been woken up at 7/8am every single morning since building has started, my flat has had several items missing or damaged since the very first day of uni which even after several complaints has not been attended to. 9 people (my entire flat) are given the same amount of fridge space ad those with 6 or even less people? how does that even make sense. one of the fridges was broken, dented and cracked externally, one was damaged in the inside, and the other broke completely, ruining £££ worth of our food to which has not even been compensated! very very disappointed and frustrated with this "accomodation" and incompetent staff treating us students as conplete idiots. would not be treated like this in private accommodation or housing so why here? real shame ntu

from constant noise disruption to unreliability of things not working. they must be so embarrased, and they are going to pay for this, and refund the people who have been effected!!

It's become hard to work due to the excessive noise all day

Students next year will have the accommodation they expected and paid for when we have had to live in a noisy, inconvenient building site for almost half of our first year. A party isn't going to bring forgiveness or make up for all those early disturbed mornings.

excessive noise pollution throughout the day and most noticeably in the early morning, causing disturbance to my sleeping and often leaving me unable to concentrate on work. Which has led to me having to do work outside of my accommodation; in the library.

I'm actually having to move out of Byron because of this, pizza as compensation for flooding and parties for noise is ridiculous, its not worth the 6 grand even if it was finished.
