Enough is enough.

This is not an appropriate place for a 4-Lane Hwy. Please improve the road but do not expand it.

My home backs into this road, It will have a huge negative impact on my property. I feel I could get involved and help to stop this project. I was at many of the earlier meetings at West high school. It was infuriating, same day mailing of meetings that day. And meetings were an exercise. I felt the bypass was going to be shoved down our throats no matter what. It seems the residents in this area are asleep at the wheel, with little regard Glen Arnold 504 Mesa Court Waukesha Where can I get signs for opposition?.

The traffic is only bad two hours a day, during morning and afternoon drive times. This is too drastic of a measure for the problem. This plan was initiated years ago. The city changed, and far more families will be adversely affected. Improve the current road. Add lights at Madison, and turn signals at Summit. When this plan originated there was farmland to the west of TT. The city had pushed further west, yet they want to run a highway down the center of what is now a residential area.

I live extremely close to where the county would put the bypass and if this happend our family would either have to live with noise and pollution or move. I however do not like either of the ideas. And more importantly precocious wetlands that we have done such a great job protecting would become a wasteland and it would completly lose life.

Owner in Dover Bay. Noise will be a very large issue. Homes near I94 already up for sale. Improve our local roads, not increase noise and remove homes for marginal gain at most.

We lost a long and often lonely battle to stop the massive, $700 million 4 lane, mile long freeway bridge over Gaylord Nelson's. the St Croix National Scenic Riverway on the MnWi border just 5 miles north of the 8 lane I-94 bridge.

Don't build. Improve. We moved to our neighborhood for the peace and quiet. Not noise, traffic and pollution. Let's not push through a six decades old plan. Let's think about what we're doing.

There have been numerous meetings where citizens have given viable and simpler alternatives to this plan. Is anyone listening to us? We certainly don't need more noise and air pollution in this area. There's also the matter of the wildlife and birds nesting in the trees that will be removed. Nesting songbird and mammal season is between March and October. What thought has been given to that? Why is this city/county hell bent on destroying the environment and disturbing people's lives when simple solutions have been presented? The charm of Waukesha has slowly been lost. Why make it worse? It's becoming just another cooky cutter generic city. Use the money to fix existing roads in need of repair, of which there are many.

We moved into this neighborhood to have a safe and peaceful home! That bypass does not give us this!! We say no to the by pass! I'm fine with a few extra minute drive to have a safe neighborhood away from the by pass

Unnecessary road expansion after all this time. Spend our transportation $ more wisely. Avoid this 4 lane fiasco. Start planning for a changing climate world.

There is absolutly NO reason for this project. NONE!

40 years too late . Now your trying to force this road into an area where it will not fit and have no room to make it wider in the future . Why not a bypass around the city , not through it .

Improve, if needed, but don't destroy. I drive HWY TT nearly everyday and love the scenery. Don't destroy it with a huge highway project. Don't ram a highway through the beautiful residential neighborhoods and natural wildlife preserve. 60 years ago the city created a road design but didn't take into account proper treatment for the wetlands nor proper zoning for the surrounding area. This area was allowed to develop into a quiet subdivision area that they now want to destroy. What a waste of our tax money! Please spend our taxes to fix the radioactive water issues. This is quantify-ably more important. Radium is accumulating in our children's bodies and the EPA has set a deadline of 2018. Improve our quality of life. Preserve our lands.

Just because good engineering went into the designed doesn't mean it is a good cost/effective investment. The proposal scope is to expansive.
