Without any prior notice to staff or students, at least three tutors of the Byam Shaw School of Art have been dismissed (Peter Kennard, Marion Coutts and Mikey Cuddihy) and the hours of nearly all remaining tutors have been cut by 50 or 75 per cent. As a result of this, not only are people losing their job and sometimes only income, also the quality and amount of teaching will diminish visibly.
